1952. 12 하와이 교포 이50주년기념사업의 하나로 인천시에 공과대학을 설립 하고자 당시의 이승만 대통령이 발의，KCI(Hawaii) 매상금중 18만 달러를 기증 1954. 4. 24 개교，인천과 하와이의 머릿자를 따서 인하라 했음. 현재 인하종합대학으로 인재를 양성함. Dec. 1952 In Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Korean immigration to Hawaii, Dr. Syngman Rhee suggested that a fund be contributed to establish the Inha Technical School. Donated $ 180,000 from the sales fund of the Korean Christian Institute, Hawaii. April 24, 1954 Inha Technical School opened. The name Inha is a derivative of In...
